Eberechi Eze once again showed why Arsenal handed him the iconic No. 10 shirt after the England international found the back of the net with a composed finish for the Gunners.
The Arsenal attacking midfielder has quickly become one of the club’s most exciting attacking options, combining creativity, dribbling ability and an eye for goal.
Eze joined Arsenal from Crystal Palace on August 23, 2025, completing a move to his boyhood club for an initial fee of £60 million, with a further £7.5 million potentially available in add-ons. Arsenal handed him the prestigious No. 10 shirt, previously worn by Emile Smith Rowe.
The 28-year-old England international primarily operates as an attacking midfielder but is also capable of playing in wider attacking positions. His technical ability and creativity made him an attractive addition to Mikel Arteta’s squad.
Eze’s Arsenal Goals and Assists
During the 2025/26 campaign, Eze made 52 appearances for Arsenal, scoring 10 goals and providing 10 assists in all competitions, according to Goal’s statistical record.
In the Premier League alone, Eze registered 7 goals and 2 assists during the campaign. He also scored in the Champions League and FA Cup, underlining his ability to contribute across different competitions.
One of his most memorable moments came in the North London derby against Tottenham, when Eze scored a hat-trick in Arsenal’s 4-1 victory in November 2025. He later scored twice against Spurs again in February 2026.
Eze also scored a spectacular goal against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League, with Arsenal’s official channel describing it as a wondergoal.
